Known Issues
LITE
Web clients will not launch if there is no webcam or microphone attached
Logging in as a new user on web clients requires closing the browser and reopening, or alternatively opening in incognito mode
Clicking the progress bar of a video to jump or using the skip forward/backward buttons for video and audio holograms does not work on the Web clients. Other platforms are unaffected
During a conference call, if a user disconnects and quickly reconnects (e.g. MR user capturing a photo), you will need to switch back to their feed manually. Once the user disconnects, the next available feed is targeted.
iOS devices should use a “low” quality video resolution as it provides a more consistent and steady video stream. This can be set in the settings panel.
Weaker Android devices such as budget tablets can experience unstable application behaviour during calls. For a good experience, we recommend devices with a Snapdragon 835 or higher.
In some cases, Android devices uploading media directly from the device gallery can cause the user to be disconnected from the call
MR
Scrolling through the chat messages to see previous chat history is currently unsupported
When inviting another user to an existing call, the dialing panel does not close automatically when the user is added
In some rare cases, HoloLens 2 devices may experience an application crash when trying to reconnect to a call after disconnecting
Lenovo Cloud Platform
Web clients connecting to Lenovo Cloud infrastructure should use Firefox. Chrome browsers can cause a crash when loading video holograms due to the built-in Chrome caching.
Web clients connecting to Lenovo Cloud infrastructure do not support 3D models currently
